Bed and Breakfast

Strategically located in the heart of the beautiful Mohawk Valley, the City of Utica has small-city charm, abundant industry, affordable housing, ample recreational opportunities and a diverse cultural and ethnic community.

Utica is the gateway to the amazing Adirondack region. Less than an hour away by car or scenic railway, the Adirondacks offer all-season recreational activities.

Utica is easily accessible via road, rail and air. About 250 miles from New York City (a three and a half hour drive), ground transportation includes the New York State Thruway, numerous state routes and Amtrak. Syracuse Hancock International Airport is a 45-minute drive. There are three daily flights from JFK to Syracuse via Jet Blue.

Approximate Round-Trip Travel Costs:
Jet Blue, JFK to Syracuse - $90
Amtrak, Penn Station to Utica - $90
Thruway (gas and tolls) - $150

Awe and Mystery is located in a two story, four-bedroom home in a quiet residential area.

While it is possible to board three (four if a bed is shared), the recommendation is for no more than two filmmakers to reside at a time. The edit suite is comfortable for three - the editor plus two.

Smoking is permitted.

$200 when three weeks of post-production are booked.

Basic Terms and Conditions _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

For editorial or production, one-half the estimated total (including services, board and travel) must be paid to secure a booking. One quarter of the balance is due upon arrival with the final quarter due upon completion.

The following penalties apply:
Cancellation within three weeks of start 25%
Cancellation within two weeks of start 50%
Cancellation within a week of start 75%
Cancellation within 24 hours of start 100%
