Lightworker

A Lightworker is a spiritual being who incarnated for the purpose of spreading love and light. They radiate an amazing presence and through their being a quickening is extended to all they meet, therefore they are catalysts for others growth.

This feature length documentary is the portrait of an extraordinary woman. Pat Bono is a Shaman, Psychic, Healer, Interfaith Minister and renowned animal communicator. Shot over a seven month period, Lightworker shows how an ordinary looking person - your neighbor, someone passing on the street - can be quite special. "Working for the Universe," does not always garner favor. During the production Pat was embrolied in an acrimonious divorce - an action brought by Pat after her husband accused her of being a "Witch and Charlatan." And worse.

From communicating with a dog about neighbors that were trying to hurt it to volunteering at a Cancer survivors meeting, Pat's good humor, sincerity and natural gifts show that she truly lives an ordinary life in extraordinary ways.

Lightworker both challenges and celebrates traditional religous beliefs.

Falling In Love

In this short film a woman leaps from a burning office in the World Trade Center on 9/11. While falling, she shares last thoughts about her impending marriage, regrets and love for her fiancé. The woman’s thoughts are stream-of-consciousness, while her on screen appearance is expressionistic; the illusion of falling is told through sound and glimpses of the limbo-lit woman.

As she approaches the end of her fall, with her last words, “I love you,” the film cuts to her fiancé. It’s the middle of the night, and he snaps awake, horrified.
